About this neighborhood
Working in Reno.
Reno-area work runs from the foothills to the high desert. The climate is different from Truckee, the lots are larger, and the design language shifts toward warmer light and longer horizons. The fundamentals stay the same: a careful interview, three real plan options, and a drawing set that makes the contractor's job clean.

Prado Vista
2024 · 5,000 sf · 4 bed / 4.5 bath
Prado Vista is a Reno-area custom home on a hillside lot overlooking the valley. The plan is single-story for the primary wing with a half-story for guest rooms above the entry. The kitchen is the social anchor, with a long island that pulls the great room toward the covered outdoor dining patio. Storage was a real brief: glass-front wine cellar at the entry, deep walk-in pantry behind the range wall, and dedicated mudroom off the garage.

I worked with Brendan on a new estate in Sonoma and can't speak highly enough about the quality of his drawings, his attentiveness to both our construction needs and the owner's vision.

A note on service area
These are the neighborhoods with featured projects. Brendan takes on custom homes anywhere within about an hour of Truckee — that's the radius he can drive in a morning, which is how he stays present through design, permitting, and construction. Sugar Bowl, Northstar, Tahoe City, Carnelian Bay, Glenshire, the Reno foothills — if you can get there from Truckee in an hour, it's in scope.
